Holy Week Across URC Mersey Synod: Palm Sunday celebration at West Kirby URC

Over 120 members and friends of West Kirby URC, including many families from the church's toddler group and children's club, enjoyed a fabulous Family Celebration on Palm Sunday afternoon.

There was craft, music, dance, bible stories and prayer, with child-centered activities for everyone to enjoy, a party tea altogether afterwards, and - the highlight of the day - a real donkey.

West Kirby URC have a vision to "Connect your Community to Christ" and this event was one of a varied programme through Holy Week.

Mum of three and elder of West Kirby URC, Jenn Merrin, said: "We had great fun, there was a really lovely atmosphere and lots of laughs from all!"
